Angela Chan - Director, Piano, Piano Pedagogy, Digital Photography
Angela Chan is an accomplished pianist who has given solo and duo piano performances in Canada, Europe, the USA and Hong Kong, and has been featured on the Discovery Channel (Canada) and on the Australian Television Network. She has adjudicated a number of competitions including the Concours de Jeunesses Quebec-Ontario, the Young Music Explorers Videotape Piano Competition and the Young Music Explorers Piano Scholarship Competition. An outstanding teacher, Dr. Chan currently hosts a column on piano pedagogy in MusiFax, a publication of the Quebec Registered Music Teachers Association. She is also an RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) piano examiner and workshop clinican.
Angela Chan holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Concordia University, Montreal, and she is the founder and Director of Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts. Dr. Chan is also director of Lambda Creative Productions, a multi-media production branch of Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts. Tristan Lauber - Piano Tristan Lauber —pianist, chamber musician, masterclass teacher, competition adjudicator, recording artist—has a wealth of experience behind him. He has won prizes at many competitions, including the Concours de Musique du Canada and the Concours de Musique du Québec, and he is the founder of the Allegro Quintet. He has performed solo and with symphony orchestras around the world, including the United States, Japan, Korea, Philippines, and Malaysia, in addition to performing across Canada and Quebec. Reviews of his performances describe his playing as “refreshingly beautiful and unexaggerated” and as possessing “arresting tonal colors, wit, majesty and eloquence". Mr. Lauber holds a Doctorate degree in piano performance from the Université de Montréal.
Jacinta Ionno - Graphics Arts Jacinta Ionno, a professional artist for more than 15 years, has been actively involved in the art community and is a member of the Canadian Federation of Artists and the Artist Association of Dollard. She participates in numerous juried and non-juried shows. She has also held solo exhibitions at Pierrefonds, Kirkland, Beaconsfield and Roxboro libraries. She has received several awards for her works.
Ms. Ionno holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a Commercial Arts Degree. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Concordia University. Julie Daoust - Voice (Soprano) Montreal soprano Julie Daoust has established a strong following in the French speaking communities and is continuing to gain critical acclaim across Canada for her elegantly poised vocal performances. She recently made her début with London Symphony Orchestra in Brahms’ German Requiem and with Pacific Opera Victoria as Crobyle in their production of Massenet’s Thais.
A former member of the Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal (between 2005 and 2007), Julie completed her Doctoral studies in Voice Performance at l’Université de Montréal and has performed for the Canadian Vocal Arts Institute in Montreal and the International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv, where she won the Silverman Foundation Scholarship for most promising international artist. She has performed with Montreal Chamber Music Festival, Acadien Festival in Caraquet, Summer Music Festival in Barachois (New Brunswick) and the Festival Orford (Quebec). Recent operatic roles include Ghita (Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg), Lia (Debussy’s L’Enfant prodigue), Clarice (Haydn’s Il Mondo della luna), Annina (La Traviata), La Seconda Cercatrice (Suor Angelica) and Miss Jessel (Britten’s Turn of the Screw). Frédéric Brunel - Piano (Jazz, Improvisation) Frédéric travaille depuis 20 ans sous le signe de la polyvalence. Il a complété deux Baccalauréats à l’Université de Montréal où il s’est formé en piano-classique, en piano-jazz avec Art Robert, Pierre Leduc, Loraine Desmarais, Luc Beaugrand et Richard Provencal tout en complétant ses cours en technique d’écriture classique.
Comme claviériste il a commencé sa carrière à L’Empire des futus stars et à Rock en vol dans le groupe électro-pop original Ralph et les Baronics vers la fin des années ’80 et dont il était sorti quelques vidéoclip à Musicplus. Frédéric a accompagné beaucoup de chanteurs et chanteuses dans des styles aussi variés que le jazz, la chanson française, ou la musique populaire américaine. Il a, entre autres, travaillé avec Bel Gazou, Estelle Esse et Yoland Sirard et beaucoup d’autres voix. Parallèlement à ces projets d’interprète il a écrit et arrangé de la musique: comme arrangeur et compositeur il a signé la musique livrée par le quatuor vocal masculin Figaro lors du Gala de l’ADISQ hors onde à l’automne 1994. Il a aussi mis sa plume sur quatre disques compacts de musique instrumentale classique et world-beat tant comme pianiste, arrangeur que compositeur, avec les orchestres à cordes L’Île de la Cité (Paris) et I Musici (Montréal), le Quatuor vocal Figaro et le quatuor à cordes Euterpe(ancêtre de l’actuel quatuor Bozzini). Comme arrangeur il a reçu 2 bourses du Conseil des Arts et Lettre du Québec en 1996 et en 1998. De 1996 à 2004, on l’a entendu 2 fois par semaine au piano dans le commerce Les Ailes de la mode, jouant avec versatilité un grand répertoire de musiques populaire, jazz, classique ainsi que les musiques de film. Le 7 juillet 2004, le Frédéric Brunel Jazz Quartet joua ses propres compositions dans la programmation du Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. Les spectacles hommages l’intéressent tout particulièrement : en duo il interprété Michel Legrand, Charles Trenet et Jean-Pierre Ferland. Depuis l’an 2000 il est aux claviers avec le projet Hommage à Joe Dassin avec Raphaël Torr,et pour lequel il reproduit toutes les sonorités populaires et orchestrales des cette époque. Cet hommage s'est rendu de la salle André-Mahieu à Desjardins-Telus à Rimouski en passant par Hector-Charland partout au Québec en passant par Vancouver, à raison de plus de 350 spectacles depuis 8 ans. Comme chef de choeur à la maison des Arts de Laval, il dirigea les choeurs d’enfants du Programme musical de l’École des Cèdres au Mondial Choral 2006. En mai 2007 il retourna sur la même scène comme pianiste-chef pour accompagner un hommage à Édit Piaf chanté par Nancy Woodbury. Aussi en novembre 2007 et 2008, en tant que « pianiste de jazz et arrangeur » , Frédéric a joué à la Place Des Arts au Festival du Monde Arabe pour le projet jazz/ethnique de Randa, chanteuse de jazz Libanaise ayant deux CD sur le marché. Avec Randa en novembre 2008 il a aussi joué deux fois en direct à la chaîne culturelle de Radio-Canada Espace Musique (100,7FM) et à la première chaÎne (95.1FM). Parallèlement , a terminé en 1998 un certificat en enseignement collectif de la musique à l’UQAM et s’est spécialisé en pédagogie Dalcroze à Rochester, au Centre Orford et l’Université du Maryland. Depuis 1999 il enseigne à temps plein la composition, la rythmique Dalcroze, la chorale, les percussions Orff et la littérature musicale au Programme musical primaire de l’École Des Cèdres à la Commission scolaire Laval. Joanne Grant - Cello 
Joanne Grant is an accomplished 'cellist and teacher who has performed with orchestras across Canada. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory and the University of Alberta, she continues to perform regularly as a member of the duo Jaï with oboist Stewart Grant. Since moving to Québec in 1995, she has maintained a highly successful studio, training young 'cellists and teaching the Music for Young Children method for young musicians and aspiring pianists. In 2007-08, Joanne was the Music Specialist for Christmas Park School. Luo Di - Cello 
Luo Di is an award winning cellist who came to Canada from China in 1998. He performs regularly in orchestral and chamber music concerts, including with I Musici de Montréal, as well as solo recitals, and TV and radio recordings. He has won prizes at numerous competitions, including the Fourth Orford Arts Center International Competition, and the 2004 International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in Krakow, Poland. He has participated in many master classes with artists such as Yo Yo Ma and Janos Starker. Luo Di studied with outstanding Chinese cellists at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and he completed his Doctor of Music degree at Université de Montral in December 2005. Alexandre Ethier - Guitar & Electric Guitar Alexandre Éthier was born in a small village, St-Aimé, located close to Sorel. He was first introduced to classical guitar by his father. Éthier has studied with guitar masters including Alvaro Pierri, Sergio and Odair Assad. He is the founder of Forestare , an ensemble of twelve young guitarists specially assembled by Éthier. He won the Felix award for Best Instrumental Album of the Year (2007) for his first recording under the ATMA label. Éthier's ensemble will be embarking on a 40-concert tour in the province of Quebec for the 2008-2009 season. Besides frequent appearance as a soloist. Alexandre has also shared the stage with prominent concert artists such as Richard Desjardins, Alexandre Da Costa, Gilles Vigneault, Alain Lefebvre, and Normand Guilbault. As a teacher, Éthier has a decade of experience of sharing his art with students of all ages and levels, notably at the Camp Musical de Lanaudière and at the École St-Clément in Mont-Royal. Andre Rodrigues - Acoustic Guitar  D'origine brésilienne, André Rodrigues commence à se distinguer sur la scène artistique montréalaise. Dès l'âge de 10 ans il entreprend des études musicales au Conservatoire Carlos Gomes, aCampinas et obtient un baccalauréat à l'Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2005). Son talent se voit couronné au Brésil par les premiers prix au Concours de Guitare Eustáquio Grilo (2008) à Brasilia et au Concours de guitare du Conservatoire Villa-Lobos de Sao Paulo (2009). Il obtient également plusieurs prix et mentions d'honneur au Concours International de Guitare Vital Medeiros (2007), au Concours de Guitare de la Faculdade Cantareira (2008)et au IV Concours de Guitare du FENAVIPI (2009). Au Canada, il reçoit le troisième prix au Grand Prix de Guitare de Montréal (2009). Au niveau académique, le Conseil National pour le Développement Scientifique et Technologique du Brésil (CNPq) lui octroi une mention d'honneur pour sa recherche intitulée L'harmonie de 'Garoto' dans son œuvre pour guitare seule (2005). En mai 2009, il obtient une maîtrise en interprétation en guitare classique à l'Université de Montréal sous la supervision du Professeur Peter McCutcheon et intègre ponctuellement le Nouvel Ensemble Moderne (NEM). Avec le soutien financier du Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec et du Conseil des Arts du Canada, il crée le spectacle Platero et moi produit par la compagnie artistique Les Voyageurs Immobiles qu'il codirige avec Milena Buziak et Sylvain Cornuau. Il se présente souvent comme soliste et chambriste, et enseigne présentement à la Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts et à l'École des Jeunes de la Faculté de Musique de l'Université de Montréal. Annabelle Renzo - Harp

Since graduating from McGill University where she studied with Jennifer Swartz, principal harpist at the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Annabelle Renzo has been invited to play with the city's major orchestras; she is currently principal harpist of the Orchestre Symphonique de Longueuil and plays regularly with l’Orchestre Symphonique de Québec, Sherbrooke, Drummondville, Rimouski and many other ensembles around Montreal. Judy Loman, Isabelle Perrin, Fabrice Pierre and Rita Costanzi are amongst the renowned harpists under which she was trained. Annabelle has also participated in music festivals in Asia (NYOC tour, 2002), in France for the MusicAlp (2005), and in British Columbia where she played with the Symphony Orchestra of the Pacific (2004). With her new electric harp, Annabelle shows her great versatility by playing at the Montreal Jazz Festival with Fred Alarie (2006), at the Festival d’été de Québec with Kanye West (2007) and with Dennis DeYoung at la Place des Arts, From 2006 to 2008, she was sailing all over the world on cruise ships where she invented her new and unique show; Moonlight Melodies. She is now a guest entertainer on famous cruise lines such as the Holland America and Celebrity Cruises. In addition to her career as a performer, she is interested in sharing her passion for the instrument and has taught students of all ages for the last 10 years. Recently, Annabelle has been engaged by Les Jeunesses Musicales du Canada to present shows that she has created specifically for young children.
Soo Yeon Cho - Contemporary Dance Korean-born Soo Yeon Cho's life interest lies in the dance world. During three years of Capoeira training, she decided to focus on discovering the body as an instrument of expression and began pursuing contemporary dance technique training including creative process/choreography at the Department of Contemporary Dance at Concordia University, Montreal. In 2007, Soo performed and choreographed for Per/Son/Alia, a multidisciplinary exploration of sound and personality directed by Sandeep Bhagwati, and was also invited to perform a contemporary Korean drum dance as part of a piano concert by Angela Song at the Ges Theatre. She has recently choreographed and performed a solo formed dance piece, GEM/InI, combined with real-time video projection and sound experiment at the Fringe Festival. As a choreographer and an artist in residence at the TML (Topological Media Lab) in Montreal, Soo is currently immersed in multimedia performance practices, and investigating personal dance forms using real-time video processing and other computational arts. Isabel Tassé - Communication, Etiquette and Presentation, Musical Theatre (Spring Break & Summer Camp)
Dès sa tendre enfance, la musique et la danse sont omniprésentes dans la vie d'Isabel. Elle s'initie à la danse dès l'âge de 6 ans et développe rapidement un grand talent qui lui permet d'obtenir un premier contrat à l'âge de 8 ans. Elle ajoute aussitôt une corde à son arc en prenant des cours de guitare classique durant cinq ans. Mais c'est au secondaire qu'Isabel découvre sa vraie passion : la comédie musicale. Elle prend part à Carmen, Demain Matin Montréal M'attend, ainsi que le Fantôme de l'Opéra comme danseuse et soliste. Isabel poursuit toutefois ses études administratives et obtient en 2003 un Baccalauréat à l'École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC).
Mais sa passion pour les arts la consume et la poursuit. Elle quitte donc le monde des affaires et entreprend une formation en Comédie Musicale à l'Académie Johanne Raby. Elle perfectionne ses techniques de chant, de jeu et de danse. Ses talents la hissent rapidement aux côtés de Jean-Luke Côté (Le Match des Étoiles - danseur et chorégraphe professionnel), où elle acquiert une bonne expérience comme assistante répétitrice et chorégraphe. Elle joue dans des revues musicales où elle approfondit les rôles de Chicago, West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Grease, Fame, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Cabaret, Notre-Dame-de-Paris et Starmania. Elle participe également à des classes de maîtres données par Robert Léger (présence de scène et interprétation), Gino Quillico (chant classique), Serge Postigo (jeu d'acteur et artiste de comédie musicale), Éric J. Miles (danse contemporaine et jazz - Ballet Jazz de Montéal) et elle rencontre Luc Plamondon. Elle élargit ses horizons en participant à des spectacles bénéfices pour appuyer différents projets communautaires et humanitaires, dont Les Enfants de San Andres au Pérou (2007), Équiterre(2009) et la fondation MIRA (2009).
Isabel bouillonne d'idées et d'énergie. Parmi ses projets en cours, elle prête sa voix comme choriste à un nouvel album qui verra le jour en 2010 et elle élabore un spectacle musical concept avec 2 autres artistes. Anick Pelletier - Musical Theatre Anick Pelletier has made her mark in music, theatre and dance with an undeniable stage presence and truthfulness of interpretations. Anick has participated in workshops with filmmakers Robert Favreau and Lea Pool, while continuing her studies in dance and voice.
Annick’s musical theater credits include Val in A Chorus Line (Marvin Hamlish), Boss in Code 99 (François Archambault and Yves Morin). She also toured in Europe and around Montreal in Âmes Sœurs, a musical play for children directed by Serge Marois and produced by “L’Arrière Scène.” For the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, took part in the casting of Dina, a new musical by Louis-Martin Lanthier.
Her operetta credits include Les Mousquetaires au couvent by Louis Varney, La Chauve-souris by Johann Strauss (in which she seduced her audience with a glamorous interpretation of Marilyn Monroe), and L’Auberge du cheval blanc by Ralph Benatsky, all productions of “L’Opéra bouffe du Québec.”
Anick can be heard on a recording with “L’Ensemble et Chœur Radio Ville-Marie“ entitled Noël en Nouvelle-France, directed by Simon Fournier. For the last two years she has also been invited to perform these pieces and other seasonal sacred music in concert.
She recently won the first prize in interpretation in “Chante en français,” a contest organized by the “Fondation Do-mi-sol des Aînés de Montréal.” In the last 5 years, Annick teaches musical theater at “Camp musical Lanaudière”, a summer camp founded and directed by Father Fernand Lindsay. Anick is also a screenwriter for a children’s television show. Rosa Pyon - Piano, Music Theory Rosa Pyon studied at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in the Piano Performance Program with professor Luba Zuk. She is currently a student of Jean Saulnier at the Université de Montréal.
At a very young age Rosa began intensive training in music theory and history and showed great ability and skill. While still a high school student, she became assistant instructor in several theory classes at the École de musique de Verdun.
As soloist, Rosa has participated regularly in a number of competitions where she was placed in the top category: she won several prizes at the Concours du Festival de musique classique de Montréal, the Concours Inter-Élèves de Vincent-d'Indy and the Association des professeurs de musique du Québec. Moreover, she was national finalist several times in the renowned Concours de musique du Canada and she won the prestigious Concours de l'Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières in the 15 and under class. Most recently, Rosa won the First Prize at the 2007 Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People held in Cape Vincent, NY.
Rosa also participated in several recitals, notably at the Chapelle historique du Bon Pasteur, at the Théatre du Rideau Vert and at the Spinelli concerts in Lachine. She was also invited to play in Les Matinées Jeunesses with the Orchestre symphonique de Montreal under the direction of Rolf Bertsch. Moreover, she has participated in the recording of a compact disc produced by the Centre de musique canadienne and l'Association des professeurs de musique du Québec. Sylvia Niedzwiecka - Flute Sylvia obtained her Bachelor of Music Degree with High Distinction in flute performance and Master of Music in solo flute performance from McGill University. She holds two D.E.S.S. diplomas (Diplôme d’Études Superiéures Spécialisées) with specialization in Interpretation and Orchestral Excerpts from Université de Montréal. Her principal teachers include Timothy Hutchins, Denis Bluteau, Carolyn Christie and Heather Howes. Sylvia performed in master classes with Jeanne Baxtresser, Peter Lloyd, Tadeu Coelho, Gary Schocker, Barthold Kuijken and other renowned flutists, and as a member of Lithium Ensemble she was a recipient of a winning 2002 CBC Debut award. She is an active performer whose projects include solo, small ensemble and orchestral performances. She enjoys working with young students, and teaches flute using the Suzuki approach. She studied Suzuki pedagogy with David Gerry and Kim Lorimier, and is an active member of Suzuki Association of Americas and Suzuki Musique Montreal. Min Kyeong Kim - Violin 
Korean-Canadian violin-violist Min Kyeong Kim studied with Mayumi Seiler at the Glenn Gould School of Music, Royal Conservatory of Music, at the McGill University with Mr. Andrew Dawes and currently with Mr. Andre Roy. She is recipient of scholarships from the Royal conservatory of Music and McGill University. She has appeared as soloist as a winner of concerto competition with the Pusan symphony orchestra and Pusan sinfonietta in Korea. As a Member of Faure Trio, who recently won the grand prize in All TV music competition, Min Kyeong has played concerts throughout Korea and Canada. As an orchestra musician, she is invited to the Britten Pears Orchestra this summer in Aldeburgh Music festival U.K. She participated in the opening concert of Bel Canto music festival as a member of chamber orchestra under Kent Nagano summer in 2008. She also has actively participated as a member of Royal Conservatory orchestra, with which she toured in a multitude of Chinese cities. She has been playing with the McGill Symphony orchestra. As a soloist, she has presented solo recitals in various venues. She has performed in master classes for great artists such as Donald Weilerstein, Paul Kantor, Andres Cardenes, Robert McDonald, and she will participate with Kim Kashkashian this summer. She has participated in music festivals including Domaine Forget international festival, Orford arts center, Toronto music festivals. She holds a Bachelor degree performance from McGill University and she is currently In Master's of Music performance program at McGill University. Grégor Monlun – Violin Né à Bordeaux (France), Grégor Monlun commence l’étude du violon à 6 ans. Après avoir reçu une Médaille d’Or à l’Ecole de Violon P. Rode (Bordeaux) dans la classe de R.Papavrami, il se perfectionne au Conservatoire de Bordeaux ainsi qu’à Paris et devient en 1998, à seulement 14 ans, l’un des plus jeunes violonistes à remporter le 1er Prix du prestigieux Concours Radio France à Paris. Sir Yehudi Menuhin se disant très impressionné par sa performance, il est invité par la suite en tant que soliste à jouer avec de nombreux orchestres en France dont l’Orchestre de Normandie et l’Orchestre de Radio France, ainsi qu’à l’étranger, avec entre autre l’Orchestre Symphonique de Barcelone en Espagne et celui de Frankfort en Allemagne. Il continue alors son apprentissage auprès d’artistes tels que M. Rostropovitch, Isaac Stern, V. Tretiakov, G. Rojdestvenski, A. Dumay et G. Poulet. Il part ensuite étudier en Russie au célèbre Conservatoire Tchaïkovski de Moscou dans les classes de E. Gratch et M. Gotsdiner (deux anciens élèves de A. Yampolski et David Oïstrakh) et en sort diplômé avec un 1er prix et la note maximale en 2007. Parallèlement à ses études, ses activités de concertistes l’ont mené à se produire dans de prestigieuses salles partout dans le monde (Allemagne, France, Grande-Bretagne, Espagne, Turquie, Italie, Japon, Afrique du Sud, Chine, Brésil, Canada…), aussi bien comme soliste ou comme chambriste avec des musiciens de renommés tels qu’Ivry Gitlis, Gilles Appap, Sergeï Babayan, Jean-Philippe Collard… Résident à Montréal depuis 2008, il obtient en 2009 une Maîtrise en Interpétation à l’Université de Montréal dans la classe du professeur Vladimir Landsman et remporte également la Bourse d’Excellence en Violon Paul-Marcel Gélinas et Verna-Marie-Parr-Gélinas. Krista Martynes - Clarinet, Saxophone

Krista Martynes received her Bachelors at the University of Northern Colorado. She continued in Europe where she obtained the "Unanimous" First Prize from the Conservatories in France, finishing her Artists Diploma from the Accademia Perosi in Italy and Masters in Musicology at the Paris VIII University. As a classical musician, Krista maintains the position of solo clarinet in the Orchestres des Regions Europpennes. She has performed in the Mozart Festival at the Abbaye de Sylvanes and Abbayes aux Dames as well as toured France, Germany, Mexico, Ukraine, and China. As a contemporary musician she was a featured soloist at the Festival Acanthes in 2005 and 2006, the Ircam Centre, the Maison de la Musique, and Theatre de Nantes in France. She performed in the Musikprotokoll Festival in Italy, the Klangspuren Festival and the Transart Festival in Austria. Recently, she participated in a documentary on the music of Luigi Nono in Venice. As an improviser, she worked with Louis Sclavis, the Instant Composers Pool in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Ensemble Transversale 20.21 in Paris. She is currently working on a doctorate at the University of Montreal. Jihyun Kim - Piano (Jazz, Pop, Improvisation)  Born and raised in Korea, Jihyun Kim received piano training ever since childhood. Since 1995, Prof Kim started moving towards the jazz direction and continued perfecting her jazz styles in piano in British Columbia and Korea where she studied with renowned professors including Chris Sigerson, Jeffrey Jonston and John Roney. In 2003, Kim enrolled in the Jazz Studies Program at Capilano College, in North Vancouver. In 2004, she moved to Montreal, continuing her studies in Jazz Performance at McGill University. Having played in various jazz ensembles from a duo to a big band, Kim also has experience with a wide range of styles of music. Jihyun Kim holds a Bachelor of Music degree with distinction in Performance majoring in jazz piano from McGill University. Besides an outstanding artist and musician, Prof. Kim also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Literature from Yeongnam University.
Lise Pigeon - Drawing, Painting (Water color, Acrylic, Pastel, Pencil Drawing)
Lise Pigeon, a veteran professor for young children, holds a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Quebec. Thoughout her career, Lise has compiled a compendium of school materials in various subjects for students from kindergarten to 6th grade. Prof. Pigeon has worked with renowned visual artists of various media including Ghulam Mustafa, Susan Fowler, Barbara Simmons, Pierette Labonte, Norma Bradley Walker, and Kal Kalinowski. Lise is versatile in a wide range of visual arts media, ranging from water colors, acrylic, pastel, pencil drawings, and oriental techniques using watercolor, Chinese ink and liquid acrylics on Japanese silk paper. Lise Pigeon is the editor of The Palette. She is also an active member of the Artists Circle of Pointe Claire, as well as the Dorval and the Dollard Artists Associations. Barbara Lewis is a singer/songwriter and composer whose voice has been praised for its beauty, power and wide range. Barbara also maintains a web site as a teacher.
Lewis has written five original music theatre pieces, including Crossroads, Book Of Dreams, Hara's Quest, Home on the big Spaceship Earth, and Rachel’s Song. Lewis’s two TV-quality music videos that play on Bravo, Classical Arts showcase and other PBS stations in Canada and the U.S.
For 8 years (1990-1998) Lewis taught singing at Montreal’s Concordia University. In 1998, Lewis left the University to spend more time writing music, performing and building a music business. From 1998-2001, Lewis lived primarily in New York City where she wrote music, recorded, and gave talks about the music business. She now lives in Montreal where she teaches, writes music and performs.
Lewis studied classical singing at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, UBC in Vancouver and McGill University in Montreal. Marc-O'Neil McCreavy - Visual Aesthetics and Design
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Marc-O’Neil McCreavy attained a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design from Humber College. Although initially drawn to a career in design due to a life-long obsession with automobiles, he discovered a deep passion for interior decorating and design during his studies. His desire to pursue this new-found passion as a career was solidified with his role as the Interior Designer for the Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts. Dora Cojocaru completed her studies in Romania and Germany, where she received her Ph.D. degree in musicology and stylistics. As a composer, Dr. Cojocaru has received numerous prizes and grants, including the Paul Sacher, Socrates, Gaudeamus, D.A.A.D., European Community, Heinrich Böll grants, as well as several grants from Canada Council for the Arts and Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebec. Her compositions have been published by Müller&Schade AG in Bern/Switzerland, and are performed worldwide (“World Music Days”-I.S.N.M./Luxembourg, Schoenberg Centre/Vienna, Marianischer Saal/Luzern, Deutschlanfunk/Köln, Sumida Triphony Hall/Tokyo, CUMS Conference/Lethbridge, UNAM/Ciudad de Mexico etc.) As an associate professor at the Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Dora Cojocaru has taught composition, music history and theory. She has also been invited to give lectures, workshops and conferences in major Canadian universities as well as in Europe. Dora Cojocaru has published two books, and a number of articles in various musical journals. She has also adjudicated many musical competitions and collaborated with the “Westdeutscher Rundfunk” in Germany. Sterling Agres - Cinematic Production and Still Photography
Sterling Agres, founder of Goliath2 Production Studios has received critical acclaim for his film and photographic work in productions aired on CNN, CTV, TLC as well as other broadcast & cable networks.
Mr. Agres has created productions for major Canadian and US corporations such as Pfizer, Sony & Loto-Quebec & Casino de Montréal. His exemplary work, a public awareness commercial in "film noir" style produced for the NCC has been selected as reference material for film production courses at the university level. Critics have lauded Sterling's impactful ability to create visual interest and expression in cinematic scenes and unique photographic subjects. Mr. Agres' career has evolved more towards the development of feature-length art films, while still garnering accolade from projects produced for major broadcasting corporations and businesses. He devotes his free time to cultivate and inspire others in developing their ability in creative expression through film and photography. Kinsey Lam - Visual Arts (Drawing and Painting for Children, Manga)  Kinsey Lam has been studying drawing, sketching, painting in a wide variety of media for 16 years. She has experience in oil pastels, pencil sketching, charcoal, water colors and acrylics and has won various Art competitions in Toronto including the Chinese Cultural Centre Youth Chapter Visual Arts Award in 2007.
Kinsey Lam holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology on a full entrance scholarship. In 2007, she won the Bronze Governor General’s Award and the Gold Medal at the Canada Wide Science Fair for Earth and Environmental Sciences. She currently dedicates her time running art therapy sessions at the McGill University Health Centre Hospitals and previously, the Montreal Chinese Hospital.
