Wendy Ramnarine - Executive Assistant to the Directors / Academic Administration

Everything that relates to creativity in the human mind appeals to Wendy's senses. Before arriving at Lambda, she spent some time traveling, working as a Market Researcher in Sydney, Australia and developing marketing strategies for a number of companies. In combination with learning to play the guitar, Wendy is currently a final year student completing her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She has a broad range of interests across the field of psychology some of which include cognitive diversity, educational methods, and student development. Larry Tam - Assistant to the Director / Technical Assistant 
Larry Tam has been studying piano with Dr. Angela Chan since 2000. He had performed solo and duo piano works at La Maison Trestler. Current Larry is in his last year at McGill University, majoring in biology. Besides taking an interest in music, Larry is also a sports enthusiast. He enjoys basketball, tennis, as well as Dragon Boat paddling. In 2008, Larry and his team won the Gold Medal in the men's 500 meter race (Division C), and third prize in the men's 250 meter race (Division C). Cynthia Wong - Pedagogical Assistant 
Cynthia Wong, a former piano student of Dr. Angela Chan for close to a decade also enjoys playing the flute and exploring the guitar on her own. Over the years, Cynthia has developed a strong passion for expression in the arts through music, dance (from hip hop to house), photography and film. Ms. Wong is currently in her second year of completing her Bachelors Degree, specializing in Concordia’s Communication Studies Program and focuses on the practical studies in Sound. She had also written for the Musifax magazine of the Quebec Music Teachers' Association, served as camp counsellor and piano teaching assistant at Lambda since the school started. Cynthia also helps teach Sunday school in her church community, and assists in Lambda’s graphics arts program during the weekend. She has also collaborated in an educational film project for Lambda school under the direction of Prof. Saundra Diardichuk. Meng Zhang - Pedagogical Assistant  Meng Zhang, one of our youngest Lambda staff members, is in her last year at Collège Charlemagne. Being perfectly trilingual, oral and written, in English, French, and Chinese, she has seen numerous of her Chinese written works published on the local Chinese newspaper “Seven Days”《七天》. Besides her passion for writing, Ms. Zhang also has a wide span of interests in music, fine arts, and sports. Other than playing piano, she enjoys playing the flute in her school’s band with which she participates in shows and competitions such as the “Festival des harmonies de Sherbrooke”. Over the years, Meng has developed a passion for the fines arts through sketching and oil painting. Despite her busy schedule, she has also maintained weekly badminton practices for over 4 years.
