LAMBDA School of Music and Fine Arts is a private school of music and fine arts located at 4989 Boul Pierrefonds, Quebec, Canada. It opened in June, 2008 and offers courses in music, graphic arts, musical theatre and dance. The name was chosen as an acronym for the interdisciplinary focus of the school on Learning of the Arts through the Mind and Body in the Discovery of Aesthetics. To encourage interaction with artists of the highest calibre, LAMBDA hosts a panel of artists in residence, who are concert performers and artists of international stature. Lambda also collaborates with a team of academic and educational advisors to ensure that faculty members and students are constantly inspired.Lambda is a new school of music and fine arts located in the West Island of Montreal. It is located in a brand new facility of 13,000 square feet (1,200 m2), with a brand new private parking lot. The Lambda building consists of a concert hall annexed to a professionally equipped recording studio, a parents and faculty lounge, day care services, group piano, strings ensemble and choir classrooms, a 1,600 square feet (150 m2) dance / theatre hall, and numerous individual instruction rooms.
