Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts serves the community of Westmount Montreal, as well as in areas of the West Island. We are proud to offer high-end state-of-the-art facilities for our students, teacher and staff for creative media productions. Our piano studio and music school serves students in Westmount and other locations within Montreal, Quebec and the West Island.
Lambda offers high quality music lessons - offering music lessons including piano, guitar, violin, cello, flute, saxophone, clarinet, harp, music theory, piano pedagogy, drawing, painting, dance, musical theatre, photography, videography, as well as spring break and summer day camps. Children have the experience of exposure to a diversity of disciplines in music and fine arts so that they can explore their musical niche.
The introductory program is geared towards students who wish to learn for fun, in which students will be introduced to the basics of the instrument and note reading. Under the guidance of our instructors, student will learn to play on their selected instruments with a solid background while developing aspects of musicianship.
Students from our piano studio have achieved international recognition - having won a number of international competitions and performed at the prestigious Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall (New York).
Our students have benefitted from the high quality of musical training we offer them. Within 4 years of our school's opening, we have students who have already won first prizes in international competitions, and have performed with major orchestras in Canada, as well as performed in Europe, Italy, France, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and in various provinces within Canada.
Documentary of 5 Lambda piano students winning first prize at the Crescendo International Competition and were invited to perform at New York's prestigious Carnegie Hall in January 2012.
